The follow steps show how to install the IMI-1000 RNS510 retrofit CarPlay and Android Auto kit.

STEP 1

Set dip switches (always follow the switch settings detailed on the label on top of the module)

STEP 2

Ensure power is off to the head unit, ideally disconnect battery earth

STEP 3

Remove the RNS850 head unit by initially removing the trim surround with a trim tool

Once removed, remove all securing screws to the display unit

Remove head unit

STEP 4

Connect the IMI-1000 kit as per the diagram below

STEP 5

Re-assemble and set up IMI-1000 as per the supplied IMI-1000 Setup Manual.
