IMI-1000 Retrofit CarPlay and Android Auto Interface — Our retrofit CarPlay and Android Auto kits are supplied with our IMI-1000 mini-computer which is connected to the rear of your head unit

The IMI-1000 from Integrated Automotive UK is a retrofit CarPlay and Android Auto Kit that adds Carplay and Android Auto functionality to a standard vehicle. The kit gives an “OEM” feel and appearance as it retains the existing Jaguar/Land Rover/Range/ Rover display on your dash, as well as the Jaguar/Land rover/Range Rover controls (rotary controller and steering wheel controls)

Wireless and Wired Operation

The IMI-1000 offers wired and wireless operation for both CarPlay and Android Auto.

Our system is compatible with the Bosch and Harman systems found between 2012-2018 (both 7” and 8” screens), you can tell you have this system as the interface will look like the one below, with a white outline(Bosch) or with the 4 panels (Harman). The IMI-1000 is now compatible with “Dual view” equipped cars.

Purchased an IMI-1000 and rear reversing camera for my 2008 e92 BMW with CiC iDrive controller. All cables and connectors were included, installation was straightforward and detailed instructions were sent via email. Scott was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. Just had the unit fitted in my Mercedes S63 2017 which had the factory fitted rear entertainment in..... it all worked with no issues. It took about 2 hours but no issues. The CarPlay screen is now huge....worth doing fully recommend

The IMI-1000 is a retrofit CarPlay and Android Auto upgrade kit.

It will add wireless connectivity to most Jaguar/Land Rover/Range Rover Vehicles equipped with a central display manufactured 2012-2017,

The IMI-1000 works by communicating with your existing entertainment system as well as your in-car entertainment system (Including the OEM Steering wheel controls, rotary controls, touchscreen(if fitted), vehicle speaker system and the Central Information Display). It operates in either by-pass mode or in “active mode”. In by-pass mode the IMI-1000 does not affect the normal operation of the in-car entertainment system, the standard JLR user interface and the standard JLR navigation system will be shown on the display when in by-pass mode. Active mode is initiated when you connect your mobile phone to the car via the wireless Bluetooth connection or USB cable. After connection, the IMI-1000 activates CarPlay or Android Auto (dependent upon the operating system of your phone, iOS or Android). The Central Information Display (CID) will then show the CarPlay or Android Auto user interface and unleash the power of CarPlay/Android Auto!
